Spider-Man: Brand New Day

2026· 2h 25m

Big-screen superhero action with real stakes

Tom Holland's Spider-Man fights crime full-time in a city that no longer remembers him, and the pressure sparks a transformation he may not have the power to control. Director Destin Daniel Cretton throws him against a powerful villain no one can even see, with Jon Bernthal and Zendaya alongside. It holds 8.1 on IMDb and 89% on Rotten Tomatoes, and the scale of it wants a big screen.

A survival nightmare that never lets up

Medical courier Bryan gets one horrifying night that collapses into chaos, and he is fighting to survive every minute of it. Director Zach Cregger keeps the momentum brutal across a lean 95 minutes, with Paul Walter Hauser and Kali Reis in the mix. This is the kind of relentless, loud survival ride built for a big room.

Runner

A flat-out chase thriller on a ticking clock

Alan Ritchson plays a former soldier thrown into a brutal race against time when a medical delivery makes him a ruthless cartel's target, and every detour and bullet pushes him closer to failure. Director Scott Waugh keeps it moving as the mission turns into a deadly manhunt with betrayal closing in from every side, and Owen Wilson rides shotgun. It sits at 6.6 on IMDb. One heads-up: this one has only a single screening slotted this week, so you will need to plan around it.
